Atlantic Subsidiary To Launch TALF Fund May 26, 2009

SRA Asset Management, a new subsidiary of Stamford, Conn.,-based Atlantic Asset Management, is launching a fund in June to invest in securitizations using funding from the Term Asset-Backed Securities Loan Facility. The fund, called America’s Triple-A Rescue Securities Fund, is unique for being structured as a series LLC and for allowing investors to opt out of investing in certain asset classes, according to one market participant.

The ATARS fund has monthly closes and any new investments will not be commingled with prior asset purchases. The ...
