U.K. Credit Card Delinquencies, Charge-Offs Hit Highs  July 02, 2009

Delinquencies in U.K. credit card asset-backed securities reached new highs in May as borrowers face continued pressure in making payments. Analysts at Fitch Ratings have warned U.K. credit card trusts to prepare for tougher economic times as cardholders find it harder to repay their debts. Greater industry losses are expected, they added.
