TALF Buoys Q2 U.S. ABS Issuance  July 07, 2009

The Term Asset-Backed Securities Loan Facility lifted ABS issuance in the second quarter, more than doubling the number of deals that came to market from the previous period. “The whole idea of TALF is to increase issuance in the sector and so far it has worked,” said Andrey Krakovsky, cio of New York-based asset manager Tacticus Capital.
